Astrid Lindgren's World

Welcome to Astrid Lindgrens Värld, a world full of fairytale characters created by author Astrid Lindgren. In this theatre- and theme park you will meet all the characters from Astrid Lindgren's books in their true settings. Everyone can meet the characters, they perform scenes from the books and improvise situations involving the children in the park. The amusement park is located in the small city in Småland, Vimmerby, where Astrid Lindgren where born. Astrid Lindgren’s World is open from 12 May to 29 August and on weekends in September, as well as certain weeks in October (week 42) and November (weeks 43 and 44).

Do & See

In Jönköping, Gränna, Visingsö and Huskvarna you have a lot of things to discover! The nature and history of the city and Småland region is very rich and captivating. There is always something going on, and lots of people to meet. Jönköping is a great place to relax, shop and eat out.
