One of the biggest shopping centres on the island, Langkawi Saga is a duty-free mall specialised in wines and liquors. They also offer a good choice of chocolate and kitchenware at reasonable prices.

Langkawi is a paradise for shopping. The archipelago was given duty-free status by the Malaysian government, which means that you can find almost anything at bargain prices. Duty-free shops are everywhere around Langkawi island, from the tiny souvenir shops along the streets to the big department stores in Pantai Cenang and Kuah. Do not forget to visit one of the night markets if you want to have a taste of the local culture and buy some cheap items and foods.
